Best performance/ Value options -

Other high-end options - Noctua D14/ Zalman ZALMAN CNPS10X Extreme/ Prolimatech Megahalems Rev.B with Scythe Slipstream fans or other high-performance fans...

You can use this chart to compare the performance of cpu coolers:

I particularly like the value of the Cooler Master Hyper 212+ at ~$30.

If you don't want to spend that much, you can get the Hyper TX3 for ~$20. It still should be an improvement over the stock HSF. (Free super saver shipping if you spend $25)

A step up would be the Zaward Vapor 120 for ~$45. It's extremely efficient for its size (no other cooler this size can compete), uses a unique and well designed golf-ball style fan, and includes clips for attaching a second fan.

gkay09's suggestions are very good.
Here's a couple of other good ones that cost a little more.

Think i'll go with the Cooler Master Hyper 212+ @ $30
cooler must not exceed 7 inches in height.
and the Cooler Master V8 I really like but its $100. :fou:

Thank you.

Good choice you won't be disappointed!
No loss the V8 is an average cooler anyways and worth about $50 tops.

+1 The V8 is just an average cooler...
CM Hyper 212+ is far better in terms of value/ performance...
