Hello, i've been searching for the reviews and comments regarding this but i cant seemed to find the right answer.

I know a 9600GT Regular Edition is FASTER than GT240 DDR5 (based on toms benchmarks) but how about the Green version of 9600GT ?

Is the 9600GT Green Editon (no need 6pin) faster than GT240 GDDR5? or just the same?

I really wanted to buy it this week, hope someone here at toms can help me.

Thank you.

The GT240 will be the faster card out of those two.

Regular 9600GT is faster? I'm pretty sure it goes 8800GT>GT240>9600GT. As I pointed out to monkey awhile ago the 9600GT does score a few wins here and there, but as he pointed out the GT240 wins more overall. I do agree however, the GT240 will be faster.

My dad would disagree. He likes to tell the story about the hunter who goes hunting and shoots 5ft to the left of his prey, then 5ft to the right. On average he killed it, but in reality he's hungry that night. I prefer the joke about whether we have a million dollars or if we are living with a couple of wh0r3$, but my dads story applies here. Good thing when looking at gaming the law of averages actually does apply.

Hi, can u help me again ? Is this correct : from fastest to slowest.

1. GT240 512MB GDDR5 128Bit
2. GT240 512MB DDR3 128Bit
3. 9600GT 512MB DDR3 256Bit (Regular edition, it needs a 6pin)
4. 9600GT 512MB DDR3 256Bit (Green edition, no need for the 6pin)

Thank You.

Thank you very much. Im really confused, coz im pretty sure i read it somewhere here at Toms Article (not at forum) that the Regular 9600GT is still faster than a GT240. (but it didn't mention if its a GT240 DDR3 or a GDDR5 version)

Anyway, so whats the use of the 256Bit ? Its still slower than a 128Bit video card.

Thanks again.

arent the differences slight enough where if it came down to choosing either one, which ever ones cheaper is the one you should get?
