How to check the temp on my GPU?

I have an HD Radeon 5770 and would like to monitor the temp on it is there a program I can download to check it?

I use HW monitor, it keeps track of everything for me.

I just read about GPU-Z is that a good and trusted program to use?

Yeah, not my first pick for checking temps because it only reads off your GPU temp but its good and safe.
