Best Hardware to install Ubuntu 10.10?

Hi everyone, I'd like to know the best CPU+Motherboard to install Linux Ubuntu 10.10.
I've had incompatibility issues in the past. Any help would be appreciated.

Depends on your budget. I would select a mobo-cpu first. Asus often has the best selection of drivers. Just go to the motherboard website page and see what Linux drivers are available.
