On the LED and power/reset button cables running from the case's front plate it has a "G" and a "triangle" on the connectors... Wires: one is white and the other are various from green to blue... So i am guess "G" is for ground and means negative while a triangle is positive? Thanks

The power and reset wires are not polarize sensitive since all they do is briefly close the circuit to reset or turn on the PSU. The LED wires are polarized and the triangle means it's the positive wire. It don't normally hurt anything if you do connect them the wrong way but they just don't work. In that case just reverse the connections and they should work.
