I need to replace a Dell E510 power supply with at least a GOOD 430W - 500W. Being a newbie I went and bought a NICE ANTEC 650W BUT failed to realize that the fan was on the top side rather than the back. Can someone help me figure out one that is GOOD but will fit my e510?

Okay....so, here's what I think you're saying. The fan is completely enclosed in the case. It is sucking air up through the fan and out of the rear vent by the power switch?

I feel really dumb.

Rear mounted:
17-371-003-S01

Internal:
17-371-021-TS

Wouldn't a lot of dust accumulate in the PSU without something actively blowing it out of the back?

Also, here's my rant: Shouldn't ANTEC include pictures in their instructions? :)

Yep....checkmate. Haha! But you know....you have to learn somehow, right? I could have paid someone to do it but instead am learning.

LOL! Thanks for the help...I'll install tonight or this weekend and let you know how it goes.
