9600GT No Longer Detected

Last response: in Graphics & Displays

For some reason, my graphics card (a 9600GT) is no longer always detected when I boot my PC. Occasionally it will be detected (most often when the monitor is switched off when I start the PC up) but normally it is not detected at all. The card has worked reliably for nearly 3 years, and I had no warning or error before it started happening.
The motherboard (an ASUS M4N68T-M) has onboard graphics, but I can't disable it, only put it lower in the detection order.
Is my card fried (luckily it's still in warranty) or is this a motherboard issue?

Did you try removing the video card and connecting your monitor to onboard graphics?

The onboard graphics works fine, it's what I'm currently using.
