Forum Graphics & Displays : Graphics Cards Low Profile Low Power Graphics Card for HP Slimline s3407c

Hello,
I have a HP Slimline s3407c desktop PC, with a geforce 6150 nforce 430 motherboard with integrated graphics, 160W power supply and an open PCI Express x16 slot. I run Win 7 home premium. I am looking to add a new graphics card - enough to run some RTS PC games - nothing fancy (Company of Heroes, Starcraft, Supreme Commander, AOEIII etc). Can anyone suggest any decent graphics card?

Here is the spec for my PC.

Also, I found a few graphics cards - like

DIAMOND ATI Radeon™ HD 4550 PCIE 512MB GDDR3 Low Profile Video Card

Will this one work?

Hi,

Just wondered what graphics card you got in the end as i am having the same problem.

I have a HP Slimline s3315uk which came with a pci-e x16 Radeon HD2400 installed but need to update it now so i can edit AVHCD and HD Files From my Panasonic HD Camcorder.

My PSU is also 160 watts but like you, every card i have looked at says i require at least a 300 watt psu - is this true??

I need it to have HDMI so i can connect to my LCD tv too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My pc spec, upgraded to 4MB Ram now:-
