Can different ram with different brand same volt and latency work?

I found this really cheap pair of patriot 8gb ram for 30 dollars on shell shocker, but I already have a pair of kingston 4gb. They have different brands, but same latency and same voltage. Another thing though, I am using my kingston at 1333 mhz, but they are actually 1600mhz. the 8gb patriot rams are 1333mhz, will that conflict? Thanks for the help

yep no problema , it' slike me , i have 2 RAM : brand NewRAM 2GB and Muscle Power 2GB , all local product and same as spec DDR1333 CL9 , just fine

Should work. May not. You might have to increase the timing a little.

Start the RAM off at the lowest common speed, 1333, then overclock as usual. You'll be fine.
