Seagate 80 gb sata hard disk problem

i have Seagate 80 sata hard disk. Which is a problem. The problem is when the hard disk connected to the computer then his plotter is continue run fast. And does not show in BIOS.
what should i do???

omg how old is that drive? You may need to turn the sata port on the motherbd to compatibility mode. thats got to be a sataI drive.
