Different CPU types in same system

I am trying to figure out if there is a way to combine multiple CPU types into the same system. For example, one slower/low power CPU (e.g. Atom, 486, etc) and one faster/full power CPU (e.g. Core 2, P4, i series, etc). Does anyone know if this is feasible?

I take you first to mean that you want 2 cpu in one system and is it possible to have to differnt ones or do they have to be the same... if thats want ur asking then no... to my knowledge the two cpus have to be the same in order for them to work together. Also you do know you have to have a dual cpu mobo right?... im sry if thats offensive but i have to ask due to me not knowing how much you know... im not saying im an expert just had to ask

The only processors that can work in conjunction with another processor is Intel® Xeon® processors (DP or MP, Dual processors or Multiprocessors) with another Intel Xeon processor.
