Pen drive shows in my computer but not in disk management

Hello,
I have a problem with my pen drive. It is an 8 GB Sandisk Cruser Edge flash drive. When I plug it in, kaspersky runs a virus scan on all the files in the drive, it appears in my computer list of drives. But when I try to open it, no files appear. It shows 0 bytes in properties. It does not appear in disk management. I am not able to format it normally and even in command mode.

Please let me know on what is to be done to use that drive again.
