Building a gameing PC please help

OK so im somewhat new to building a pc and want a new gameing pc if you could help me pick out better stuff or reinsure what i have thank you here is my idea so far


i7 950 Build
CASE :

Video card : EVGA 012-P3-1470-AR GeForce GTX 470 (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card after i save moremoney want to add asecond one

Power supply : ?so far waslooking 850W to 1000W

looks fine, only thing i would change is the gtx 470, im not a fan of the gf100 cards they are power hungry and run hot, depends if you getting the gtx 470 cheap though, i would rather get a 5870 if you can afford it, as for the psu a good 850 watt should be more than enough even to SLI the 470s or crossfire the 5870s depending on what gpu you are getting, just make sure you get a good make of psu such as corsair, seasonic, antec, xfx and so on
