Asrock UEFI Setup Utility Password

Recently purchased an Asrock motherboard 8GB ram and an Intel i5-2500 processor. Everything is working OK but when I try to access the UEFI setup [Bios] I'm presented with a request for a Password. I have read through the motherboard handbook without success - anyone out there having experienced the same problem ???

Have you tried the usual "admin" ?

Also try resetting the cmos by removing the battery for a few minutes with the power off at the wall.

Many thanks for your reply - the problem was resolved by clearing the Bios as you recommended.
