I recently purchased a HP Touchsmart 300-1020 Desktop PC. Looking to upgrade my graphics card but after doing a little reading online I'm not sure if I can? It says it is "intergrated" and from my understanding that means its connected to the motherboard in such a way I'd have to have a genius take apart my computer to put in a better graphics card? Any help would be appreciated I'm not great with the internal workings of computers just trying to boost this up to play FFXIV smoother. Meeting just above the minimum requirements :ouch:

I believe this is an all-in-one PC so probably not. I don't think there is free PCI-E slot and there probably wouldn't be enough room for one if you pulled something out.

yes you can touchsmart 300 has one mxm socket (the laptop format graphic card interface). you need to buy a compatible graphic card and the heatsink.

you probably won't answer but do you have any idea what kind of card i could get to fit? i have the HP touchsmart 300-1025 & just recently found out about the MXM slot. after googling for an hour i think its 3.0(type a) - but i can't find any other info on it and i dont know anything about graphics cards.
