There is a 3.1 Rev, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131771 but I cannot understand what it means. Did they fix the issues the 3.0 was having? I plan on eventually gtting another video card and doing major gaming.

More about what diffrence pick
  1. In my opinion i would recommend the ASRock P67 EXTREME4 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard due to the fact its a Tom's hardware recommended item and for the high memory standard. This board would also fill the need of extra pci-e slot for additional video cards very well
  2. Unless you actually need the BlueTooth that the ASUS board has, I recommend the ASRock Extreme4. It will serve you well with overclocking and SLI/CF.

The Rev 3.1 ASUS board just has a different USB3 controller than the Rev 3.0 board. That's the only difference.
