I can spend $300 on this or save that & get an i5 3 months later.
In order to decide what to do I need to know how powerful this laptop will be.

How powerful is Athlon II 2.2ghz comparing with an i3 or i5
is it 50% or 25% as powerful as an i5?

A mobile athlon II X2 is about 70-75% as fast as a similarly clocked i3
