I'm building a PC and I'm going to use the hard drive I'm on right know. When I'm done with the build and boot it up will it just work or do i have to do something to the hard drive to work? I'm buying another Windows 7 to use on the build along with a SSD.

Should work just fine. Just make sure that in the BIOS, the SATA controller is set to AHCI for the SSD. This will allow the system to utilize the TRIM function in Windows 7. When installing Windows, you probably will have to install the AHCI controller driver on the drive selection screen. Then, you can do as you will with the HDD as your storage device. Also, in BIOS, make sure that the SSD is in top priority for boot device.
