Accidentally deleted hard drive partition

Hello,

WD Blue HDD SATA 1TB 7200RPM 6GB/S/64MB WD10EZEX

Well i was doing format c with W7 pro, previously i had 2 partition but now i wanted do change that, so i deleted one of them (about 40 gigs) and now i have only 1 partition (local disk c:) with 931 GB storage room. I hoped that this 40gb partition that i deleted would be added to the other one but it dissapeared completely.
Any help ? :/

A 1TB Drive will show as 931GB when it is formatted
So it looks like you have it all used in your single partition.

    So whats the problem again?

    Cheers
  2. So 931GB is normal ? Where is the rest 69 GB's ?
I thought i had 971GB or something like that showing before, i could be wrong though.
  3. Ok, my bad. This thread can be closed.
  4. Go into disk management. It will show all partitions. You should be able to right click the partition and select "expand volume" as long as the two partitions are adjacent.
