My First Ever Homebuilt

Well, after about 2 or 3 years of praying and hoping, I'm finally able to build my first homebuild. I decided on going AMD because it just seemed cost effective and anything is better than my Intel Pentium D 820 PC I've been tinkering on for now on 4 years now. I made a list of parts that I would love some friendly advice over.

Case
Mobo
Video Card
RAM
Processor
PSU

I'll just grab a HDD and OP drive when a good sale comes along.

Let me know what you think about my selections, I want to get these parts and get to work hopefully this week.

everything looks fine i dont see any real problems however i would change the cpu to an x3 445

Your list contains a single stick of RAM. Get a kit with two sticks so you can enable dual channel for your memory.

^Agree with g_81, the X3 445 would probably get you more bang/buck and you may even get lucky and unlock the 4th core.

Yeah, I plan to game a bit but I do alot of video stuff too. So I will need a good card. The price was good for it
