Given price and performance of Prescott is quite similar (identical) of NW, and faster P4s will be prescotts anyway, I didnt see the need to split them. I think few people would want a prescott over a northwood, and anything faster than 3.4 will be prescott anyway. If I split them, I should also split eg the A64 in <3400 and >3400 (s939).

I think you should have added future processors to the next CPU poll, like Tejas and specified that Athlon 64/FX also includes socket 939. I now have a P4 2.4C OC to 3.12GHZ and I think my next processor will be a Tejas even without seeing any benchmarks - I'm just thinking that Intel should take back the performance crown some day and it might as well be Tejas to bring glory to the Kingdom o' Intel.
POST is way overrated, the black screen and beeps should be enough for most people.
This isn't a valid poll, there is no way to mark two boxes. Not to mention you don't have the P3 Coppermine listed.
Currently I have an XP1800+ and a P3 1GHz Coppermine.
Just because I like AMD or Intel more at a time because of one product compared to another, does not make me a fan boy, it makes me a person who is able to make a decision for myself.

Can't you read ? "if you have more than one, select your main machine, if still in doubt, your latest purchase"
>Not to mention you don't have the P3 Coppermine listed.
"intel Pentium 3"
If its not a P3 tualatin, this is probably coppermine or katmai don't you think ? Did you expect me to give you an option for every speedgrade since the 386-16 ?

Sorry, man, I didn't want to come across as being negative, I just always forget that sarcasm doesn't work on these forums too well.
