Hey I was wondering if you would mind helping figure out my build. I have spent 2 weeks looking around and i'm at my wits end, My biggest problem is compatability, My budget for the components is around $850 and, $1100 to include the OS, wireless card, Monitor, and fun stuff like thermal paste. My Intention is to get into pc gaming, but i also just want a good all around pc that i can add to as i go along.

Processor: i5- 750
Motherboard: ( upgradeable to 16gb ddr3) Hdmi would be nice
RAM: (would like to start at 4 gb ddr3)
Graphics Card: (All you)
Hard Drive: at least (.5 tb)
Case: Antec 900 Im pretty set on this case
Power Supply: (all you)
DVD Burner: (all you)

I would really appreciate your insight and a list break down with pricing to include the extras e.g. monitor, mouse, key board, ect. Im also a little flexible on the price so you down have to sacrifice quality.

At about $950, this configuration is what you want to match with an i5 750. The GTX 460 is the right card for gaming at 1920 resolution. Pro: This will run any game you throw at it. Con: Since a 24" monitor would cost about $220, keyboard and mouse $30-$100 depending on your tastes, it would run about $100 over your budget.

If you use a 22" monitor, and game at 1680, you can knock $60 off the monitor, and use an HD 5750 saving another $80, bringing you close to budget.
