More about mobo chipset please
  1. You need to define what you mean by 'Best' and what other components you will be adding. Examples SSD, GPU(s), and other components, etc.

    Example some of the newer SSD are 550/500 and won't run to their potentials on the Marvell 91xx SATA3 chipsets.
  2. Thanks for the quick reply help.
    I am just getting start for a new system build, I am not a gamer. Will use the system mainly for graphics, photo video and movie. I am not even sure I will get SSD since I had a couple 1TB SATA HD, but will consider the possibility for upgrades later.
    I would also interest in SLI and OC. I also need a good 1GB video card to go along. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
  3. I have 10 PC's running ASUS P6X58D-E since last May 2010 -> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131641

    I also have HD 5770 and they can support (3) monitors all with digital: 2 x DVI, 1 x DisplayPort. Otherwise nVidia limits with (1) GPU to (2) monitors. The GTX 560 and GTX 570 are also very good and run games, movies, etc very well.

    edit: GPU --> nVidia: EVGA or ASUS, ATI/AMD XFX - both have Limited Lifetime Warranties.
  4. What is your opinion on the ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 x58 Motherboard LGA 1366 i7? I could only get it used from someone.
  5. The ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 is an older MOBO, so no USB 3.0, SATA3 {Marvell}, but certainly it will work. I've got a thing about Warranties ;)
