Do i need to plug in both conectors on a 9800gtx+?

Hello was kinda wondering do i need to plug in both power conectors on a9800gtx+ meaning the 6pin has 2 conectors on the other end do they both need to go to the power supply or just one?

you need to connect both the 6-pin connectors.

Cool thanks i wonder if i did any damage to the card i had it runing for a while off one conector seems fine?

Its been a while since i built a system and am kinda outdated as far as technology goes.
