SAMSUNG 500GB HD502HJ 7200rpm 16MB Spinpoint F3
Samsung 22x SpeedPlus™ Serial ATA internal DVD writer SH-S223C/BEBE

or

ASROCK AM3 870 EXTREME3
AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 2.8GHz 6x512KB
DDR3 1600Mhz PC12800 4GB Corsair XMS3 --CL--9-- Skt1156 (2x2GB)
ATI HD5770 Sapphire 1GB 2xDVI/HDMI/DP
SAMSUNG 500GB HD502HJ 7200rpm 16MB Spinpoint F3
LC-POWER Green Power LC6600GP V2.3 600W
Arctic Freezer Xtreme Rev. 2.0 1366/1156/775/AM3/AM2+/AM2/939
Samsung 22x SpeedPlus™ Serial ATA internal DVD writer SH-S223C/BEBE

Could build a nicer system yourself. Are you overclocking?

AMD is faster in CS5, but a bit slower in games. As games get more threaded the X6 will be more powerful.

yep. The AMD is better in multithreaded tasks, but games use 2, 3 or 4 threads max right now, so you won't see the improvement in games, the i5 will be better there (but the 1090 is no slouch). But in video encoding, photoshop, etc. the X6 will blow the I5 away. If you'll be doing both, get the AMD.

overclock? maybe

yep... if you have time.. I happy :D please try.. and please explain the choices, but the limitation price is the same of my two configurations

The differences are so great in games and/or applications? and you remember that, I sometimes use 3D graphics programs... maya, 3d max, ecc.. 6 cores are better in these applications?

with my needs, what do you choose?
