hi guys, i just upgraded my nvidia 9800gt to an ATI Radeon 5770, and i have a benq e2200 which has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080, however when i use the setting in my propeties > display settings, it says Out of Range! and when i try and run it with my 5770 my screen goes all weird its unreadable blurry and constantly moving up and down at a rapid rate.
before i upgraded my pc i used a nvidia 9800gt, which worked without a problem.

That message is usually a refresh rate issue in my experiance. Usually its set to high for the monitor. Open up the CCC and see where its set. There is obviously something wrong with the drivers of one or other, As the BenQ isnt being recognised i would sugest re-installing the Monitor drivers as well.
i downloaded the driver from the Benq website last night and put it in c:\windows/system32\drivers. so what else could this issue be. i tried screenshoting the screen with how it acts in 1920 x 1080 but it didnt work, just came up as the clear desktop when i pasted it into paint to save it
What do you mean you put it in c:\windows/system32\drivers. You do realise you need to actually "Run" the driver application so it can install itself ? Its not just some code that needs installing to a directory.
Well you have to run the drivers or you wont get anywhere, What about the driver disc for the Monitor i guess you dont have that anymore ? If so then use that.
If you can post a screen shot of what you got when you opened your Zipped file i will take a look and soo if there is an exe file or some such so you can run the drivers manually.
Just been to BenQ and couldnt find any drivers so your one up on me there already. What you posted dosent look right at all. If you cant find a set of drivers to download from a third party then maybe you could find a driver disc on Ebay if every thing else fails. You do need the drivers though.
