So what kind of Memory should I get? I've heard that the G.Skill series is great, but I hear corsair is decent, too. Have you seen any good sticks on sale for a good brand?

Well, part of the reason I"m getting the 5870 is its fantastic low power consumption. I feel like I'd go over my budget if I bought the two 460s and that mobo. The 750, however, I can pick up from Newegg with a discount code for about $80 right now.

$80 for a 750? Where do you find a code like that? In this case, get the 750 regardless.

The 460SLI gives you the same performance as a HD5970 for ~300W on load, which isnt bad, with the saving on the CPU, it evens out the extra cost of the mobo pretty much.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207003&Tpk=xfx%20750 with the promo code makes it pretty freakin' cheap.

Also, should I get the 768 MB 460 or the 1GB 460?

Well, from what I can tell, the two 460s will fit in budget and I can keep the 870, unless it won't work with a 750w PSU.

This is the monitor:

ASUS VW246H Glossy Black 24" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 20000:1 (1000:1) Built-in Speakers - $219.99

It's separate from the rest of the build.

You can't SLI 460s in that mobo, the second slot is an X4 1.0 slot.

IMO I would spend more on the monitor to get an IPS/120hz monitor, nothing wrong with it, but IMO the monitor is one of the more important parts of your computer experience.

Is there any particular monitor you could suggest? I can't destroy my account for the monitor, though, currently and I've seen the ASUS and it's decent, not perfect, but decent. I'm open to seeing what you think is good.
