Replace hd with a Seagate hd

te100 - Yes I was trying to boot off the Seagate. I have done it before with another laptop and it worked fine. So that shouldn't be the problem. I actually tried it with two Seagate hard drives and they both acted the same way with the error screen. I think I'll try the USB external enclosure as that should work.
