Hello,
I have a Seagate hd I took out of a Dell laptop. I would like to get some information off of it by putting it in my Toshiba laptop. When I boot up though, I get the bluescreen error. Is there something I eed to do to get it to work or is there just incompatibility prblem? Any help would be appreciated.

Get a USB external enclosure for it. They're not expensive.

te100 - Yes I was trying to boot off the Seagate. I have done it before with another laptop and it worked fine. So that shouldn't be the problem. I actually tried it with two Seagate hard drives and they both acted the same way with the error screen. I think I'll try the USB external enclosure as that should work.
