Hello i just recently purchased a Dell Optiplex GX270 P4 2.8 GHz, RAM: 512mb, I just need some guidance on how I can upgrade it so I can maybe run wow.

Its going to need a lot of help before it can run WoW. You are going to need about 2GB of ram(i think it might max out at that), decent GPU in it, which will require you also replace the PSU with a good one.
