Hello,
my dvd cd rom drive is not opening i have a toshiba satellite l355 series wher e can i buy the parts and do i fix it

Hi, to open it get a paperclip or tiny screwdriver and push it into the tiny hole on the drive front bezel.

If it is broken you have 2 choices.

1. Buy a laptop dvd drive with a removable front bezel and switch the bezel from your broken one onto it, thats is of course if your drive has a removable front bezel.
2. Buy an exact replacement for your drive that comes with the front bezel attached.

To remove the drive it will probably have a screw in the back of the laptop holding the drive in. Once you have released the bay with the paperclip method and removed the screw you will be able to pull the drive out.

Try removing and replacing, unistalling drivers and rebooting to see if it comes back to life.

I would suggest eBay should you need a replacement.
