Laptop HDD Questions

I have two Laptop HDDs,
TOSHIBA MK1652GSX(HDD2H03) 160GB 5400 RPM 8MB Cache 2.5" SATA 1.5Gb/s
Fujitsu MHY2120BH 120GB 5400 RPM 8MB Cache 2.5" SATA 1.5Gb/s

I have a ASRock Z77 Pro4-M, if that even matters.

I don't know if I need a certain type of cable or adjustment to make these two Hard Drives work with my computer nicely as just extra drives for file storage. Any help is appreciated :)

  1. To use them just for data storage you can buy external enclosures for 2.5-inch hard drives, these plug into a USB port.

But if you want to install Windows on one of them on your PC you will need to mount the drive internally using a mounting kit which you can buy at most PC shops or online.
You'll need to buy a SATA cable too.

Before using either of them though I would test them first with the manufacturer's diagnostic software:

  2. Can you link me to the propert SATA cable I should buy for each?
