SSD on old motherboard

I need help with enabling AHCI on an ASUS M2N68-AM SE2 motherboard running Win 7! I have turned on ACHI in the registry as this is a data transfer job on my wifes machine and I don't want to die (he-he). When you get to turn on raid in bios, there is nothing for a single SSD? What setting should I use?? Everything seems to run fine, but I cannot use Intel Tools as it does not recognize the drive as it says it must be disconnected. Please help if you can :hello:
