P67 or Z68??

Building a new system for gaming purposes, not looking for a high end monster but something that runs stable and will be reliable. I plan on having a 120GB SSD boot drive with Win7. Which motherboard will work better for my purposes? Any suggestions? ~$140-150 would be perfect!

In your case the only possible advantage to Z68 is the MPEG-2/4 encoding so if that's important then the Z68. Both Game the same.

In your price range +$9, the ASRock P67 EXTREME4 (B3) or P67 EXTREME4 GEN3 are tough to beat.

  3. Picked up the ASRock P67 EXTREME4 (B3) last night at Micro Center. $155 - $40 combo with i2500k. Out the door with mobo and processor for under $300... not too bad. Can't wait to assemble and start installs. Thanks!
