Boot error

Somebody,pls help.my emachines laptop hangs up randomly few minutes after boot and then after that it goes undetected by displaying the error message ''check connection cable" and something else like "boot device not found".i have removed and tried other two harddisks all Western digital including my factory default hard disk.pls help me,my laptop is my only entertainment.thank you in advance.

Test the hard drive for failure with the manufacturer's diagnostic software which loads from a bootable CD which you can make from the ISO file they supply. The links are here: http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=287
