What do you think about this configuration?

im buying a new pc mainly for games so i would like to know if this is good enough for gaming

motherboard- asus m4a785td-v evo
cpu- amd athlon ii x3 440 3.0 ghz
memory- kingston ddr3 2gb pc1333
Sapphire Video PCIE HD5750 1024mb DDR5

What OS are you going to use? 2GB is a bit low for Vista/Win7. Should be 4GB and Win7 64 preferably.

Check the "charts" section for graphics cards and see if the 5750 suits your needs. Usually its not very much money to move up to a 5770, which is a substantially faster graphics card.

700 series chipsets are old, you should be able to find an 800 series (870, 880 or 890) motherboard with USB3 for around the same price.

In addition to dndhatcher's comments, it's going to depend a lot on the resolution of your monitor. 1280x1024 might be ok, but that system isn't going to produce reasonable fps at 1920x1080.

i've already moved from an hd 5670 to a 5750 so thats all the money i can spend
im using 1280x1024

i think ill add 2 more gb in a month or two but for now with my 2gb which OS should i use?

Frankly if your game titles aren't DX11 i would rather hunt for a nice sub $9X HD 4850
