I currently have an old 4350 card, and I'm tired of having to run newer games on low settings, or not being able to run them at all.
So, I have $300 dollars I'm willing to spend on a new GPU, I cannot however bring myself to one card, therefore I come to you.
Suggestions?

I would have to say ( YES ) I would still go HD 5850 even tho a GTX 460 1 gig might be a tad faster in some games, the HD 5850 is only 40 bucks more then the GTX 460 1 gig and run on less power and runs cooler.

Not to mention faster overall. You haven't forgot about that law of averages already have you monkey?

In addition to the questions Emperus asked, I'd also like to know about the PSU. The GTX460 or 5850 will need a good PSU. Make sure yours is up to the task.

Depending on the games you use to get the average from would determine which card is faster and what I find amusing is that in a couple of games that ATi have shouted about the 5850 loses to the 460.
