Sims 3, help, Shader Model 2 being on video cards?

Hello,
I have a dell with celeron d with windows xp. I latley just purchased the Sims 3 which I couldn't wait to play. But then there was a pop-up saying I need at least shader model 2. I need information please. I need all the info on shader model 2 and it being on video cards. This is all new to me, so I need to know, do I need a physical card with shader model 2 on it, or will I need to download it on the computer?

What card would depend on your budget, although with that machine it's not going to break the bank. As for where to get it, online or brick and mortar store, it's up to you.

you really need to read the system requirements of the game before you buy it. Read the reccomended system requirements, not the minimum.

No, you need to get a card first.

You (or someone else) is going to have to open the case up and fit it inside.
