Just finished this build. It is my first build, always had them built for me before. I followed all the instructions, checked all my connections and jumpers. I powered up as the MOBO manual stated. The mobo powers up and all the fans roar but no monitor connection. The build is listed below. any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance. Am I missing something blatent??

Intel Quad Core i7 930

Asus P6X58D-E

CORSAIR XMS3 12GB (6 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

Antec Nine Hundred Two Black ATX Case

CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W

BDR-205 Blu-ray Burner

PNY Geoforce gtx 470

As far as I know, I followed directions... Any pointers??

I would make sure everything is plugged in, I know it might seem dumb at first but I went nuts than figured out my power button cable wasn't plugged into the right jumper. Also check this list out http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-boot-video-problems Your probably missing something really simple by the way. I would also try as the list says to boot without your graphics card if you mobo has a onboard then in the BIOS change the settings to start with your PCI-E slot.
