Hey man, do you have to have that case? I think u should go an antec 300 illusion or something way cheaper and put more money on a better processor like a phenom II 955. Micro ATX motherboards are too small and wont look good in a huge full tower.

The tower i could care less about, so yea, could totally change it. also noticed i have two power supplies in there, i would get the Corsair not fatality one.

if you like the styling of the HAF 932, there is now the HAF 912, a mid-tower version for $59.99

it comes with 2 120mm fans with slots for 4 more fans, so its a fantastic cooler, living up to H.A.F. (High Air Flow).

Total excluding monitor is $855 before taxes and shipping. Add these items to your cart and see how much it is. Than decide on a monitor.

Yes! It's a great card for the price. Low noise + stays cool.

I think that is based on the hard drive, in which the Samsung f3 spinpoint 1TB is one of the fastest 1TB hard drives around. The processor itself is good and fast and can easily be overclocked.

I love the manuals that ASUS puts out. They are well documented with each step. If you haven't already, try downloading the manual electronically from their website and browse through the steps.

My first build was with an ASUS motherboard 6 years ago and everything is still running smooth. I'm planning a new build in a couple months and will use ASUS again.

You will most likely need it, but if you ordered a cpu it may come with some. If not i recommend Arctic 5 silver. You can probably get some cheap stuff at a local computer store too, Arctic 5 is top quality though.

The heatsink that comes with the Phenom 955 comes with pre-applied thermal paste at the bottom, so careful not to touch it.

potentially, everything *might* have upgrades. load the stuff that came with your hardware first, then go check for bio updates and driver updates from Windows Update first, then the manufacturer.

Last night I got all the parts hooked up and working. Tonight I will set everything up on the desk and get the monitor connected and start it up to start loading the discs. What will be the firsr things I should do? Get virus protection? Heard Microsoft has a good free one? Then load the hardware software??????

load windows, load all of your drivers, load an anti-virus if you want, then check for driver updates.

after that, load all your software.

Another dumb question. The mother board has blue and white slots for the ram. I put both in blue. Is that Right or do you put one each to match a and a or both in white
