Ghosting a HDD

I have a question, i just got a new velocraptor drive from WD. i ran norton ghost and followed the directions how ever when i start windows from the main area where one would login to windows the start menu would not load and at the bottom right of the monitor it says " Your verison of windows is not genuine" followed by a build number how would one get around this?
do i need a patch for windows to recognize that i have cloaned my HDD or do i have to activate windows again?
any help would be much appreicated

Activate windows again. if the key is wrong u need to buy new key.
