How to find compatible hard drive caddy HP ENVY M4-1015dx cd/dvd drive

Am trying to find compatible hard drive caddy for HP ENVY M4-1015dx laptop to replace cd/dvd drive with 1TB 5400rpm WD drive.

Not sure the depth , width of CD/dvd drive , here is the model CDDVDW SU-208BB [Optical drive]

Bought a new laptop with I7 and 8GB ram. Ordered Samsung 840 pro 256GB to replace original 1TB hard disk, will need this 1TB in optical drive slot.

Techies pls. help

Not fit any hdds in optical drive slot.use usb hdds instend.Buy a sata to usb converter is fitted with box to space for hdds and optical drives.

have seen a lot of threads online, where optical drive can be replaced by HDD with Hard drive caddy. However its hard to know which caddy fits the model that i have.

Sunny, I am about to do the same thing with my m4-1015dx. Did you ever find an appropriate product? The generic "9.5 mm 2nd HDD caddy" variety (Amazon) should work but I have read about issues using a drive over 500 GB. Please share your results.

Thanks! Ordered my Sammy 840 Pro today. Does it solve any lag that you experienced with the m4-1015dx prior to installation? Sometimes my mouse will hang while an app loads. Drives me insane.
