GT240 512mb good enough for physx?

I have an Asus crosshair 4 formula with crossfired hd5850's, I want to a add a physx PPU is the GT240 512mb sufficient?

yes it should be.

generally the gt250 is considered the best card for it (without wasting money on something overly powerful), and to be honest i would say even the 250 is a little OTT.

what games do you plan on playing though? there are very few decent games that use Physx, and it seems pointless to buy a card for it.

Agree, only a few games that use PhysX, don't bother with that, as long as you have a great cpu and gpu, you're good... :)

(there was another THG review and another one from some other site like Firingsquad that showed other combos, but don't remember where they are).

Depending on the level of effects you want, the GT220 can be enough or like Welsh mentions, sometimes a GTS250 is required.
