Trying to get the information off of my HDD

Hello,

Recently we had the motherboard go bad in a HP Pavilion DV9000. We purchased another laptop, but we are wanting to get the information off the HDD that was in the HP laptop. I know I need to purchase an external drive enclosure. The problem I'm running into is that I don't know which one I need to purchase. The HDD has wierd connecters that I'm not sure which one i need to get. Its not SATA or IDE, so I was hoping some one can tell me which external drive enclosure I need to purchase or if you suggest I go another route.

is that hard drive still in its caddy?

Well Emerald, you just solved me having to get a external drive enclosure. I removed the adapter and was able to connect it to my computer. Thanks!
