My computer does not show name change of hard drive

Hi to all that posted... I posted a long detailed description of my problem but now I only see that it says 'Hello'.

Strange how that got posted??

Anyway I think I might have had some virus or spyware or something on my D (secondary drive)

Every time I renamed the drive, in properties it would change, but in my computer the name would not change and neither would the icon from a folder icon back to a hard drive icon.

I enabled all hidden and system files and discovered an autorun.inf file and a file it was referring to called server.exe in the root of D.

After I deleted both of the above mentioned files the problem was gone.
