I received my parts in the mail today and got right to work on building my new rig. However after the assembly and now hours upon hours of troubleshooting it won't post. So basically I am looking for other ideas to do or perhaps which part is the one that needs RMA'd
For reference here are the parts in question:
Antec EarthWatts EA650 650W Continuous Power ATX12V Ver.2.2 / EPS12V version 2.91 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC "compatible with Core i7/Core i5" Power Supply
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL
ASUS M4A78T-E AM3 AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor
I have tried resetting the CMOS and removing the battery. I only (at this point) have the PSU attached to the Mobo and no other peripherals plugged in. I have tried both sticks of RAM independently. No matter what I do the system won't post, the Mobo light comes on, the CPU fan comes on. If they are plugged in any HDD, optical drives or video card fans spin up but I get no post. Any thoughts or insight would be greatly appreciated as I am out of ideas.
