OK I have an Antec 300 with 2 fans in the front, 1 in the back, 1 on the side and 1 on the top. I also have a Xigmatek S1283V-DARK KNIGHT and OCZ Freeze Extreme. Just the other day I did a stress test with Prime95 and my load temperatures were 60C, my idle temps are 44C and that was only on stock clock (3.2ghz). Now considering my "cooling gear" i expected to get lower temps. Can anyone suggest any ides why im getting such high temperatures?

Just to check
-you are looking at "core" temps
-your voltage is set to default in the bios
-the HSF is properly seated and you reseated it
-you didn't apply too much thermal compound

Yes I use AMD overdrive to monitor my core temperatues
Voltage is 1.3v which is defult for this cpu

Im not comfortable with taking off my fan and heatsink but ill try tomorrow..give it a clean and reapply thermal paste and see if that does anything.
