I was going to get a western digital green 3tb drive until I started to read bad reviews on it. Then I was sent to look at seagate hard drives, and they also had bad reviews. So what 3tb Hard drive should I get? (by the way please do not say I should just get an ssd, because I also am getting an ssd with it)

The problem with 3tb drives is many systems don't (directly) support them, it's also easier to blame the drive than admit to one's own ignorance; if the drives were as bad as some of the (anonymous) reviews say, class action would have be taken some time back.
