Hi,

I am getting this static like buzzing noise on my mic with the newly bought Titanium, I have a Gigabyte EP45-UD3LR motherboard and using Sennheiser PC 350. I tried the newest drivers from the creative site first, and currently running the drivers from the driver cd, so I'm guessing it's not a driver issue. First I thought the problem could be the front panel, but the static buzzing and crackling appears when connecting to the back panel as well. I also disabled the on-board sound although I did not not have any problems installing the drivers, while using XP, was worth a try.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Well, I assume this issue doesn't happen when using the onboard sound microphone input...

You could give the Daniel_K or PAX driver sets a try as well; should at least ensure its (probably?) not a driver issue with Creatives drivers...

Also disable all that's "in" in the sound card's application. Line-in, etc.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You might also be experiencing what most people find out is a grounding issue with your PC to wall connection. Is your rig grounded properly, via a third pin?
