I finished my AMD build (thanks shovenose) so this is my intel build for comparison. I know you can't really have to much power, but i don't see a point in having power i won't use. Seems wasteful. Heres the build:

Case: Antec Three Hundred Illusion Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case (thanks jsc) also this case comes with 4 fans pre-installed im ordering a 5th for the optional slot.
Graphics: XFX HD 5770
CPU: Intel Core i5-760
Mobo: ASRock H55M-LE
Ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB DDR3 1333
HD: SAMSUNG SATA 3.0 320GB 7200 RPM
Optical: ASUS Black DVD-RW
Fan Controller: NZXT Sentry-2 5.25" Touch Screen fan controller
Just cause i can: nMEDIAPC Black Aluminum Panel PRO-LCD-B
and finally PSU: Antec EarthWatts EA650

Notes: i tried to take in account that the 5770 needs 450 watt min + an aging factor of 30%. (longer it lasts the better). Does it look good? What say ye all?

I recommend 6 GB, 4 GB has become the minimum these days, and you don't wanna have the minimum when new.

Do you already have the HDD? Because if you don't, you should really get a bigger one. Usually, bigger HDDs have better performance because of the increased data density.
