Hello,
ive been looking to upgrade my cpu to a amd phenom ii x3 740 black edition
i have checked the bios ver it is f6a so to fit the x3 740 there would be no problem ?

Take a look at this:

It says that your board is support Phenom II x3 740 since BIOS F2, now you have F6, so there's no problem, no need to flash or something, just install it...
